 When we look at Venus in the evening sky we think have image of the "The Birth of Venus" painting by Botticelli. Venus the second planet from the Sun and named after the Roman God of Love. Venus orbits the Sun every 224.7 Earth days. It has a rotation period of 243 Earth days,. The naming of the features on Venus after the names of female deities.
